Mission

The Hoover Office of Economic & Community Development focuses on key issues that are important for businesses to start, stay and grow in the city of Hoover. The Office works to attract, grow and retain businesses while supporting key issues that are critical to business success, such as talent attraction and workforce development partnerships. 

If a business is locating or expanding in Hoover, the City offers team assistance from its planning, inspections, engineering, fire inspections and landscaping departments.  Hoover strives to make the process of working with city government as streamlined as possible.
