In its efforts to uphold the international Sertoma motto, "SERvice TO MAnkind," the Cahaba Valley Sertoma Club works mainly to benefit the programs of the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind.

Thanks to fund raisers such as its annual Christmas tree sale, the Sertoma Club is able to help purchase portable testing equipment and sponsor weekend activities for the school's students. The club also regularly contributes to "Family Connection."
