Requesting Consideration by the Commission

Application deadlines are strictly enforced and failure to meet these submission dates will result in delay of the application process.

Applications requesting consideration by the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission are available at the city clerk's office and on the website. Applications must be submitted in accordance with the following deadlines in order to be placed on the upcoming agenda:

  • Conditional Use applications, accompanied by required documentation and application fee, must be submitted 21 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
  • Final Map applications, accompanied by required documentation and application fee, must be submitted 14 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
  • Preliminary Map applications, accompanied by required documentation and application fee, must be submitted 21 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
  • Rezoning applications, accompanied by required documentation and application fee, must be submitted 21 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
